Head Trainer, Brittany Sukis
 
From the time Brittany could walk she has been on and around horses. Growing up on Maple Grove Farm Brittany has always had a love for animals especially horses. At the age of four Brittany began competing at local shows on her first pony a welsh cob named Paddington Bear. Brittany has shown many other horses over the years in both the hunter jumpers and equitation rings from local to rated shows.
 
At 15 Brittany purchased a 3 yr old wb cross named Chantilly that she trained and showed. Brittany has competed Chantilly successfully on the A circuit at various shows including HITS in Saugerties and Ocala Florida. Competing Chantilly in the hunters to the Massachusetts and New England Medal Finals.
 
Brittany has ridden and worked with many different trainers including clinics with Greg Best. Brittany has been training with Kristen Bumpus for the last four years. At the age of 17 Brittany went on to work for Kristen as a working student traveling the East coast as well as Florida.
 
Brittany's love for horses and competing shows in her love for teaching. Brittany especially enjoys watching her students grow and become confident. Brittany thinks that it is very important to set goals and work towards achieving them while having fun.
Riding is a partnership. The horse lends you his strength, speed and grace, which are greater then yours. For your part, you give him guidance, intelligence and understanding which are greater then his. Together you can achieve a richness that neither can alone.
